84 years. He also treasures stories his father, Omar, told of Alpena of times back to 1882 when grandfather Gregory Bleau brought his family here to love from Lachine, Montreal, Canada. Gregory was a carpenter and worked with Omar on many buildings in Alpena. St. Bernard Church steeple was one of their handi works. Guess those two were not afraid of heights! A fine steeple they built too. In Omar's adult years he could be seen early in the morning riding his bike - never a car. He had a little make-shift cart, he pulled behind his bike for the convenience of carrying his tools etc.
