Description
Husband and wife, Doug and Eve Allyn, worked professionally in rock and roll bands for over 35 years. Both natives of Northeast Michigan, the Allyns talk about their formative years in the Alpena area and their experiences working as musicians in Taiwan while Doug was stationed during the Vietnam War. Eventually, the Allyns settled in the Saginaw/Flint area and performed in that local music scene for the rest of their music career. Doug and Eve played in The Counts, D.A. and the Witnesses and Devil's Triangle which later became The Triangle. In retirement from his music career, Doug Allyn has become a prominent mystery writer winning many national awards for his short stories including two Edgar Awards.
