- Description
- Coming from a musical family, Cal's love for music began at the early age of five and was influenced by his travels growing up in a military family. While his father was stationed in Hawaii, Cal learned traditional Hawaiian music and torch dancing which contributed in developing a passion for drumming. In 1970, Cal's father was stationed at Wurtsmith Air Force Base and it was at this time that Cal began playing in Northeast Michigan. Cal was a member of the band Pendulum during the 1970's and later went on to perform in many bands including Summer Breeze and Spirit. He has also been a member of the Besser Chorus for many years. Recently, Cal wrote and recorded "Remember the Fallen Hero" along with Wayne Kendziorski to honor our service men and women.
