Dear Mother – this is Wednesday and my company haven’t arrived – they are staying in Detroit a few days for this big water fete – it started Monday and one woman was killed others hurt by a bomb bursting I got a nice letter from Cora – her and Earnest are having a fine time and are both looking for us down in Sep. Mr. Hoye died this morning. By by, love to all a.s. If they don’t soon come I am going up home. Will write soon.
