- This is the main street taken many years ago. Our store is on the other side of the bridge you see in the background, so you can imagine what happened when people had to go a mile and a half from down town to get there. You can cross the river but the foot bridge they put up is so rickety, every one hates to use it. We hope the new bridge will be finished by Xmas. We live on this side of the river.
