Dear Minnie – Well, we are in Frankfort. It sure is lovely here. Our room faces the lake. We have very good meals. Grace and Eva swim every day. There are some beautiful homes here. The weather has been perfect so far. They say it has been very hot in Detroit. But we do not feel the heat here. I bowled two games last night. We also play bridge. You are a long way from home. I often think of you. I have plenty of rest here – don’t even have to make my bed. These boats pass our Hotel and many others in the distance. Eva is staying three weeks. Grace and I are staying the two weeks. Hope you are well. Love Frances.
