It a l s o expects theni to be ladies and gentiemen at all times . It does n ' t expect, but it is hopeful, that everyone who enters the college community will desire to make a contribution to the group. One of the highest recom- mendations any individual can have is that the group he joins is strengthened by his presence. I am always personally happy when I can make that state ment in writing recommenda- tions. Special importance may well be placed on the matter of your · individual record. There may be many instances in the life time of all men and women en- tering Alpena Community Col lege when your record will be scrutinized and decisions of great importanse to you made on the basis of this record. Make aure it is a good one . . .£ · Sep~ember Rings In Without Bel Is September has come again, and with , it have come many students back -to school, but for many new freshmen at A. C. C. this time there are no school bells, no study balls, and few- er teachers pushing and urg- ing them to get things done. Now they are more or less on their own, they have more free- dom than in high school, but they can find that this new free- dom can be very costly if it is not used right.
