Fall, 1974 Oh boy .... .food! ! Free beer for everyone. All hands on deck ... I 've been tied to better things. THE POLEMIC Weekend Bashooo Entertaining For All The Spring Weekend Bash, held May 10th on Island Park, was quite successful with many local and dorm students attending. Food, along with soft drinks and watermelon, was served to the students from 3:00 p.m. until around 6:00 p.m. Free beer was also given out to students as long as the supply lasted. For the sports-minded students, games were featured in the early evening. An egg-toss started things out, followed by three-legged races between teams of girls vs. girls, boys vs. boys, and a girl-guy team. Other games such as tug-o-war between local girls versus the dorm girls and the same with the boys (dorm vs. local), a bat throwing contest for the boys, and volley ball games for everyone were also played. Live music, provided by KETCH from Lansing, finished up the evening, with the band playing from 8: 00 to 12: 00 p.m. Call in the reserves. Now this is more like it.! Page Five Bring on the 12th course! I think I missed. One for you & two for me. Volley ball was enioyed by all.
