September 30~ 1987 Museum,- The Jesse Besser Museum is a wonderful place to stop and visit anytime, especially with the easy access the ACC students have by the new bridge designed by ACC instructor Bob Eller. The lower level you can view the lumber era, cloth or rag dalls, early Alpena farming, stories carved from stone, and also more. On Saturday, October 3, from 10:00am to 4:00pm the museum having its 16th annual Fall for ACC Harvest Days. The museum will host many demonstrations, such as: buttermaking, quilting, spinning, wheat weaving, rope making, rug making, beekeeping, silversmith, and basket making. Some other highlights of the Fall Harvest Days include: A performance from the Alpena Cement Mixers, doin Page 4 Students dances, which will be held at 1 :00pm. Their music will be provided by "Three On A String." A presentation of the stars and planets of the early fall sky will be shown in the planetarium at 11:00am, 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00pm. Admission is 75 cents per person.
