Very few business people are involved. Titus stated that he would like to see the community commit themselves more to contacting their representatives and senators about limited nuclear testing. SANE has recently merged with FREEZE, another anti-nuclear organization. When this merger is complete, this will be the largest peace group in the nation's history. The local SANE chapter covers all of Alpena, Alcona, Presque -Isle, and Montmorency counties. Currently, the local SANE chapter needs help in many areas. The 'show consists of 20 autos, some vintage as well as modern models are included and as Winter commented, "It is a lot of fun to work on but it also takes a lot of time and effort to put together." On a more general note, the Auto Body program bases most of their time and energy servicing cars brought in by paying customers. CJtstomers who §_i!!lply have contacted Winter and have the work done at a pretty "descent price," Winter mentioned. The bulk of funding for Winter's program comes directly from customer sevice with other monies flowing iri from tuition fees. As uninteresting and dull as I perceived the feild of automation to be, I can only wonder how my thirst for knowlege has led me astray.
