December 16,1987 Y —}+-— ry SB ET } p= a IP Se, ETE ED OER. EPS ED law ACC Swings ACC's Annual Christmas Dance was held Friday, December 11 at the Civic Center. The event was sponsored by Student Senate along with the Business Club. Approximately 180 people attended the dance. When asked about this large turn-out, Student Senate President Ann Meldrum responded, "It was wonderful! It was better than I expected. The students and faculty that showed up appeared to have a joyous time- they made the evening a success.” Meldrum went on to say that "Since ACC_doesn't have a fall Into The mid-semester break, I sensed that both student and faculty were in need of a release from their constant, everyday work.” Some of the faculty that were in attendance were: Jim Donakowski, Robert Fournier, Judy Tibbetts, Charles Tetzlaff, and Dean McCormack. When asked how he felt the dance went, Dean McCormack tesponded,"My wife and I enjoyed the evening. 2 Holidays but I would like to see more faculty attend." The Center was decorated by members of the Student Senate and Business Club. Each table had a candle center piece and mistle toe was hung everywhere. During the evenings events a visitor came to the dance. It was Santa Clause! Santa mingled with everyone and even had a chance to. dance with Tammy Cox. we prefere the slow music, we spent much time on the dance floor. The student attendance was great, i (NZ, was provided by Rex Sound Affects and the buffett table was catered by the Salad Bowl.
