ESTABLISHED Perhaps some of you are aware ‘of the vast quantities of land, owned by the college, located back behind NRC building, Recently it has come to the attention of the Lumberjack ~ staff that this land has been designated for animal b-grazin; There has been a new program instated here at ACC through ichigan State University (MSU). aa program correlates with the Veternarian program offered at MSU. Apparently MSU has a large demand for veternarians and ACC felt that it could ) accommodate their demands. Instead of selling the dorm the college plans to renovate it into'an Animal Resource Lab (ARL). The Flower floor will be used for animal testing, cow milking, sheep sheering, blood testing and other on-hand work. The upper floors will be used for lecture session. The land behind NRC will be artially cleaned out and many. corrals and fence lines will have to be installed. A small warning to ‘area students-- the electrical fence so please do not try to feed the animals.
