- Temporary Foot Bridge across the Thunder Bay River during the repair of the Second Avenue Bridge and reconstruction of the bridge abutments during the Spring and Summer of 1919. The Second Avenue Bridge reopened to traffic on July 21, 1919. This image shows the foot bridge connecting to the north side behind the Alpena Furniture Company. The Second Avenue Bridge proper is to the right.
