Early on in the construction of the U.S. Federal Building along the Thunder Bay River in Alpena, Michigan. Taken from the east corner looking toward downtown. Gately's Furniture Store is in the center. The Charles F. Steele Garage is on left (upper floor is the current location of the Library's conference room). Taken October 19, 1911.
