Description
Capture in May of 1887, this image is one of several captured from the Engine House No. 1 on Third Ave. this easterly view shows the portion of south downtown Alpena along Thunder bay River.
Notes
Looking towards the Thunder Bay River and Bay from River Street. The large building center is the Maltz Opera House. The hotel behind it(right)is the Churchill House where the City Hall is now located.
