- Middle Island Light Station is located on Middle Island in Lake Huron, approximately 1 ½ miles offshore. It was commissioned in 1905 and is presently being restored by the Middle Island Lighthouse Keepers Association, 5671 Rockport, Alpena, MI 49707.
