' Don Pregizer, Veterans Outreach Coordinator at ACC, indicates that the vet enrollment is slightly \ ' down from last fall but parallels the overall lower number of students registered at the college this term. The figure includes 84 vets presently attend- . ing classes at Wurthsmith Air Force Base, Oscoda. Vets are reminded that the 'Pursuit of Educat- , ion slips are required by Federal Regulation and must be submitted monthly to the Veterans Out- reach Offic~. Failure to comply results in auto- matic termination of benefits. Audience Captivated by: . ; "God's 1FJavoritei't' . ' I . -by Patty Du_tcher If a play could ever be described as a thoroughly enjoyable experience, where the actors and act- resses do a superb job in each of their respecti.ve roles, the A.C.T.'s play, "God's Favorite" would surely fit this description . The Neil Simon Comedy, directed - by Keith Titus, was a hit among the audience and kept young and old alike continually laughing. The pl\Y, which was a modern version of the biblical story of Job was excellent in both the acting and technical areas. · · · In the leading role of the character Joe Benja- min, Ken Walters did a superior job as the once rich man turned suffering begger, who would not deny God no matter how he was afflicted _· -mn Maxwell was also very convincing in his part of Sidney Lipton, the somehwat confused and schem- ing man who was God's earthly messenger. Special credit should also be given to Shirley Weaver in her role as Joe Benjamin's wife, Rose. Roger Wood, Pat Bushey and Gayle Wismer each did a fine p~rformance playing the Benjamin child- ren. The parts of Mady and Morris, played by Ann Taber and Emmett Heiberg, were quite bel- ievable in their roles as the devoted familv servents. - The acting was of superior caliber and the sets were expertly done. The director of "God's F-avorite", Keith Titus, should be congratulated on the excellent job he did in directing and in pro- ducing an enjoyable evening for the audience.
