"I'm really happy with everyone on the team," Head Coach Mike Kollien said. "They are very dedicated and have great work ethic. They are a good group of girls with a lot of fight and heart in them." Marisa Fenner, is out currently with a painful back injury. Kollien is unsure when she will return. As soon as Fenner sees a doctor, the decision will be made. The other injuries go with the territory. There are sore knees, ankles, bumps and bruises, Kollien said. Pam Rich is tied for third with seven steals in two games played in Eastern Conference. Rich is also fourth in the confer.: ence averaging 7 .5 rebounds per game. . Laura Parks is in ·a three-way tie for her free t~row percent- age. Parks is 6-6 in two games played. Kollien said that it is too early in the season to tell how the team matches up with the competition, especially since Schoolcraft and Mott community colleges have outstanding pro- grams. After those two teams, everyone else. is a coin toss, he said. Kollien believes that if the teams stays healthy, ACC could finish in the top five.
