During those years, Phillips had only one losing seascn while comrosing a 170-70 record for a 71% victory average. The two latest accomplishments that he directed were the: 1977 AHS district championship team and the recently conculded ACC division champs. Phillips had a 32- 14 record in his two years at ACC; Phillips estimated that he put in nearly 930 hours in the past two years as a :dual-coach, He states that they are both full time jobs and he tried to approach them in that way. Phillips admits that he will miss eraching basketball but hopes to re- main associated in some way with the game. Phillips plans to spend more time with his family during his break: from basketball. No new coach has been named to either basketball team as of yet, fener co-| -leaders, The game started out onan 1 aggres- sive pace and the Alumni were on top at the mid-break, 21-16. In the second half, the Alumni proved that they are the strongest team in the league as they gradually pulled away to win. Roger Pauley directed the Alumni with 15 points and Tim Gapske added 14. Scott Hetzner and Steve Kueffiner led the All Stars with eight apiece. Knicks 44, Rebels 41 The Rebels jumped off to a quick start as they led at the half 29-23. The Knicks began to find the mark in the latter stanza and held on to win their fourth straight contest. Dave Chartrand led the Knicks with 17 points while Marty Sommerfcld led the Rebels with 19. Too Shorts, 2; Nets, 0 (forfeit) The Nets were forced to forfeit after being unable to field enough players. Fred Siebert and Randy Gingerick are tied for second with 146 averages. Vickey Lindsay leads the women with a 145 average, while Coleen with a 145 average, while Coleen Waldie follows her with 123.
