MARCH 29, 1988 Campaign '88 Dance Campaign ‘88 was the theme for.the dance held March 25 at the Alpena Civic Center. The event , sponsored by Student Senate, was put on to celebrate the Presidential elections coming up this fall. The Civic Center was decked out completely in red, white and blue, from the balloons. and Streamers hanging about, right down to the jellybeans on the tables. Approximately a hundred students showed up for the affair that lasted from 9:00p.m. until a.m. Music was provided by Rex Sound Effects. Hungry students enjoyed hot hors d'oeuvres including barbeque meatballs, seafood croquettes, egg rolls, deep-fried mushrooms, vegetable trays, and pate.
