The students took it upon themselves to design the patio and lay the foundation. Funding for the project came from the Buildings and Grounds Committee and cost about $400. Thanks to Concrete's hard work, we all ahve a nice place to relax outside, and our campus has become more attractive. On April 19, the Student Senate invited Bob Dickinson to b their guest speaker. Approximately 50 students attended the meeting. Dickinson stated at the meeting that "...there is no contract between myself and the college." The bookstore owner also talked for quite some time about his markup procedure. Later, he stated that college students give him "approximately 2/3" of his business. After the meeting, when asked how long ago he made the agreement with ACC he stated that. the "contract" was made in 1983.
