    The Globe Hotel was located on Washington Avenue just in from Chisholm Street in the present location of Trinity Episcopal Church parking lot.

    These sawyers cut bolts of cedar (shown), which were then split into shingles.

    Boom hands assisted in placing strong logs locked together to form a corral (or sorting gap) used to sort logs for different saw mills.

    Ties were railroad ties.
